SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE
25th April
Hebrews
11:13-40
We encourage you to spend some time in prayer and ask God to speak to you this morning through his word.
Consider & Pray
John 14:1-4
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”

A Message from YFC...
Join YFC to pray for the young people of North Wales
This Sunday evening, at the new time of 4pm, for 45 minutes on Zoom. Link below.
Sorry that we're a little late this month. We've had to rethink the time, but for a very good reason. For the last two weeks we have run an outdoor campfire for young people, and we'll be doing the same this week. Find out more about that event by clicking here.
But we're still meeting to pray as planned, but at the slightly earlier time of 4pm - 4.45pm.
Join us on Zoom - and spread the word.

Heroes of The Faith..

Song to Start
Read Together
Often the people mentioned in Hebrews 11 are described as the "Heroes of Faith", have a conversation about this as a family, do you think the people talked about in this chapter are heroes?
If you have a copy of the Jesus Storybook Bible then you might like to read together "The Story and the Song", which points out that some people think the Bible is a book full of heroes but it's more than that!
Activity 1 - Noah's ark colouring sheet or maze
For the younger ones you may want to revisit the story of Noah's ark and talk about how Noah acted in faith, he couldn't see the storm coming he had faith in God so he built the ark.
Here's a link to a Noah's ark colouring page from The Beginners Bible http://www.thebeginnersbible.com//includes/files/base/documents/activitySheets/coloring/tbbsuperduperactivity_noahsark3.pdf

Activity 2 - Challenge
You will need one sheet of paper, eight marbles(or coins) and a bucket half-filled with water. You have five minutes to create something out of the paper that allows all eight marbles to float on the water.
Then read together the story of Noah in Genesis 6:5 – 9:17. In this true story from the Bible, God kept eight people safe when he judged the world. Think about the following questions:
-
How did God judge the world?
-
Who did God save?
-
What did God promise?
